Wow. Taking it apart would void your warranty. Not recommended. Loading from usb means you hook a compatible external hard drive to your wii through the usb port and play your games off of the hard drive. You should probably spend the next hour or two looking over the faq, and tutorial sections of this forum to better understand what you're getting into.

Listen to what junkmailturds is telling you.

If you do some reading you will have a modded Wii in the end.
If you do not read and take short cuts, you will have a broke(BRICKED) Wii.
PLEASE SEARCH, READ, AND THINK BEFORE DOING ANYTHING.

The is a slim chance that you can mod your Wii with a chip. And opening your Wii will not void your warranty if done carefully.

If you don't feel comfortable modding your Wii with softmod or chip, your best bet is to take it to your local mod shop. There are alternatives to softmodding one of the new drives. The Wode will load games from usb, or hard drive. Little pricey, but it's an option. Perhaps you can pay someone that will guarantee to not brick your Wii with a softmod as well.
