    Arrow No Longer New: May 19/08 ..How to Identify a NEW Unmoddable Wii

    The D2C dvd drive control chip ....just has 1 row of numbers/letters " GC2-D2C "
    There is no 2nd row of characters below the GC2-D2C like on the moddable Wii's

    AND

    ON the left of the chip just below the hole in the center ...it is printed with

    APCB D3 94V-0

    This Version is called the D2C2


    so far it has been proven correct and the only sure way to id the Unmoddable Wiis

    hope this answers the often asked question....

    Arrow D2Cpro GW-619 (21 Wires) I wonder if it will work on the new D2C2...

    If i get my hands in one of these i'll try using the mod chip i
    usually use [D2Cpro 21 wires] & if it works.. i'll share the info as well.

    D2CPro is a clone of the D2Ckey and will not work for these

    Yesterday I got one of these new D2C2 drives,
    I almost installed the D2Cpro on it,

    I would have been a waste of time..
