Updated Wii Firmware, please help. (wiikey)

Well last weekend I decided to update my Wiikey with its latest firmware etc, little did I know that when i was away at school camp my cousin had updated the Wii's firmware, stuffing up my system...

I haven't played my Wii since Easter, so my Wiikey firmware is pretty old, 1.9D I think (the one before the galaxy fix).

Now when I put in the config or 1.9s update disc's, they don't come up like they usually would.

Is there anyway I can fix this? any input it much appreciated.

Thanks.

are the config discs burnt properly? u might need to throw in a dummy file when burning or download the padded versions

I got a Japanese Wii and am trying to update too..
A lot of guessing in the menues, but am I right in thinking that I need to be on a wireless network to update?
I got no wireless connection at the moment, and the update wants me to "connect" in order to update after the initial "test".
