Which Chip does my wii have
Hello folks,

I went to Http://nintendo-scene.com/wiitracker/search.php and found out that my serial number has a 50% chance of having a DC2.

Great, so which mod chip do I try first?

will the wrong chip hurt the system or simple not work?

Any suggestions would be great.

Im a newb here also but from what i have read you have a newer wii so most of the chips will not work for you. I know for a fact D2PRO will work. They have a new version D2PRO 9 (9 wire install). I would like to help but can't just as of yet. Only been looking at modding the past week.

What is the 1st 7 digits of your serial # including the letters?

D2SUN v1.22 + Wii Clip from what i see is compatible could u confirm that plz before i purchase.i no its not as good as the d2 pro 9 wire but i have 2 wiis to chip so saving few pennys on each will help.many thx

The information in the following post will give you some other options to consider. From what I have read the D2Sun is also a solid performer but does not have the ability to update it is my understanding.
