No to the layer break (not sure how do set this in imgburn or nero)
No to verbatim (I havn't found those around my area so I tried Memorex DVD+R DL 2.4x, TDK DVD+R DL 2.4x, and ProData DVD+R 8x.
Yes burning at 4x

I found the single layer disc game of SSB and it worked fine on Printalble media Optodisks, cheapies. I have version 3.4u on my Wii and v1.8 I believe on my Argon chip with Wii-Clip.

Memorex DVD+R DL 2.4x...works ok...most of the time...if you by chance get the ones made by ritek

IMGBURN>tools>settings> write tab(on top)> write type set to DAO...change to incremental>then on right side of window..select user specified and input 2084960

then good to go

As of right now the d2pro is ahead of the argon in terms of updates and apparently they have a fix for the new unmoddable wiis coming real soon. Argon did struggle at first with numberous updates but thier 1.8 firmware has been stable. Yesterday they released the 9 wire firware and so far feedback has been positive.
