Unhappy D2C or Wasabi DX for me?
According to wiitracker.nintendo-scene.com
I have a GC2-D2B Drive Chip and my Drive's Pins are most likely cut .

Q1: What does that mean?
Q2: What Mod-Chip can I use?
Q3: When I went to a place that sells Mod-chips he told me they have
only 2 chips, the D2Ckey and Wasabi DX, which is better for my
situation?

By the way the shopkeeper recomended D2Ckey because Wasabi DX
read only gold bottom DVDs but not blue bottom DVDs, which he sells.

I have wasabi dx, it reads blue bottom verbatim dvd r- without issue, at 3x- so some lag on intro movies, but it can also be installed on compatible wii's as a zero with 6x speed. If you are on 4.2 chips will not play out of region at the moment.

I have burned many brands of dvds for movies and have never seen any other color than blue/purple

i would ask him for a wasabi dx with a solderless clip to install it like a wasabi zero. you will definately like this installation alot better then a normal wasabi dx.

if he says it wont read on his discs, then his discs are probably shit.

One other point, the wasabi works very well with dvdx- others chips have issues, not sure which ones.

as far as i know, d2ckey only works on d2c. i could be wrong but i think your supplier is an idiot.
