Which Chip?

Hi,

I installed a Wiikey in my original Wii a couple of years ago and never had any problems. I somehow corrupted the firmware and can't access the SD card from the main menu or install new updates from Nintendo to correct it. In both instances it freezes. Ready to give up on it, because I want to run HBC and the backups from USB drive.

Looking into getting a new Wii from Ebay. Talked to a guy with one with serial LU59....

I haven't kept up with the modchip since installing and wondering what people think is the best out now. Are solderless just as good as the one I install years ago?

Thanks for any help.

The best thing to do would be to contact a local modchip supplier, as they will have the knowledge of which chips suit your Wii and your needs.
