I accidentally snapped off that brown clip while installing a Drive Key. Now it doesn't work, I still have the clip, I tried pushing the cable in and taping it with the clip but it still does work. I believe it's called a ZIF, someone please help! Dvd's can't play now but I can still open it. When I connect my cable into it spins for 5 seconds then stops, I put a DVD in it and it still doesn't work. If any pro-modders could fix this or tell me how let me know.

just buy another clip and replace the broken one

in order to replace a broken pcb board, u need to disolder the 4 wires on the right and the 2 wires on the left, remove the 2 screws and unplug the wires..

turn solder those wires back and u are done... ^_^
