I have a Nintendo wii v3.4

I softmodded it and put a homebrew channel on it.

if i brick it, will a modchip fix it?

i dont have a mod chip, but if you read more about it , you ll find that if a mod chip is installed , there is a disk that is auto boot , in case of a brick. not sure of the functionality of this. i think that is why a mod chip is such a good thing. if not for the fix it disk, you wouldnt need a chip , as softmod does same thing and much more. good luck. thanx

A modchip is an extra safety net for bad wad or banner bricked Wiis etc but it won't help if you low level brick your Wii. Don't think you are exempt from Bricks because of a modchip, you are not.

Get bootmii as boot2, much better than any modchip.

i have a chip modded wii for quite a while... since i bouhgt beatles rockband i had to update to 4.1. So i did it... now i get an error message when i try to play copied games... is there anyway to fix this???

The error said that theres been a n error with the disc... take it our and read bout troubleshooting and turn off the wii and try again...
by the way mi modchip is the wiijii one...

Wiijii? Never heard of it.

Any error numbers perhaps? I wasn't aware that any changes had been made in 4.1 that could possibly block out a modchip. Is this across all your backup discs or some in particular?

No number at all just the dics error... turn off the wii and refer to troubleshooting on the manual. Well ive been trying GHWT and Medal of honor.... GH is the one givin me trouble, somtimes loads, sometimes doesnt but i cant even get to the main manu.... then the message comes out... im guessin my chips is one of the oldest ones to come out cuz ive had it for at least 3 years. hopefully this go away somehow... but i have no idea how to fix it.

So it's just GHWT that's causing you problems? All other games in your collection load with no issues?
