    Best wii solderless modchip?

    So what is the best modchip for the wii that is solderless at the moment? And why?

    it depends on which model wii you have, what you expect from the chip, etc etc.

    The single best thing to do is to contact a local modchip supplier/installer and talk it through with them.

    Some of the chip suppliers/installers have web based tools to determine which chips are compatible with which Wii's.

    model RVL-001 (EUR) serial LEH1132etc
    Have chipped a ps1 myself and have had a ps2 chipped not by myself
    but if you get wireless chips for the WII i would possible go with that
    I would only use it for playing backup games and would think its a better option than any of the others (well it was with the ps1/ps2)

    Thanks will look into maybe doing a softmod instead (whats the preferred method amongst most on here)

    Do you have a link to the latest way of doing it as i am always scared i google an out of date tutorial

    check the tutorials forum for the 3.1-4.1 softmod guide. Or the complete 4.2 softmod guide. (Depending on your firmware version).
