Nintendo know you're using modchip?
Is it possible for Nintendo to find out if you're using a modchip or not even when using Wiiconnect 24 or the Nintendo Wifi network?

As far as i know, no. I don't think the system sends any information back. People play 'legal' game copies online and they have no problems. So you should be fine
