Exclamation Wii semi-bricked after performing update on wii sports resort.
As far as I know my wii is NTSC and the disc was NTSC so I have no idea why this happened in the first place. I have a wiikey v1 1.9s. I updated from WSR then when I re-entered WSR I just got a black screen. I'm not even on 4.0 because there's no sd channel so the update didnt even work. I even bought a Wii motion plus. Anyway when I go into wii settings it gives me the opera error. I think I was on 3.3u because I could run SSBB. How can I unbrick it and play wii sports resort?
Thank you all so much in advance.
Edit: Well no one has replied in two days so I downloaded a recovery disc NTSC burned it twice at slow speeds, and when the disc loads it says system files are corrupted. What can I do???
Edit: No? nothing? Maybe I'll just join another wii forum...

I update WSR then my system become 3.4U
I can play WSR now (but without motion plus it's useless)
I am no longer play SSBB so I have to get another vesion dual layer of SSBB (play OK now)

Hello mate
Hope ure doing fine,
I came across your post while actually trying to figure out if the Shop update would brick my WII,
I have a modded Wii (i donno which mod, since i bought it modded); Wii sports resort did not brick it,
I searched about yuor problem, and found this site:
Wii Fix Disc Unbricks Semi-Brick by Import Mario Kart, SSBB § Code Retard

which claims it has a fix for your problems, if it doesnt work , lemme knw (by emailing me : [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register], now am not an expert, but two minds search better than one ;

well u posted in modchips when u don't have a modchip problem..... u should have posted in another forum to begin with..if you wanted more of a response.

The solution has been covered in many threads...read up

yes mareshal....a low level brick can be usually fixed by the different brick removers....which are all on this site. and if none of them work...then DL the latest released SAME REGION ANY GAME and update your wii that way...to fix the problem

we know you are just trying to help..but in future read the rules before posting....
