Hi Guys,
Just bought another wii as the old one was fully bricked, i softmod it and my 6 year old was playing a game and he update it.
now i need help with few question.

if i use modchip without softmod can i still be able to play packup games
if wii firmware upgraded while modchip installed, does this brick it again
which is the best modchip i can use for (LEH198, D2E), another stupid question if i install modchip will this void my warrenty.

sounds like ur situation is better suited for a modchip. a modchip can be installed and never have to worry about updating, it will not brick or cause the chip to stop workin. if u have a D2E without epoxy wii, then the best chip for u would be either the wasabi zero standalone or the wasabi dx used as a zero. technically a modchip can void ur warranty but is actually alot less likely nowadays compared to softmodding. softmodding will void ur warranty and it seems they are crackin down on it really bad. if u needed repair u could open ur wii up and take the chip out, as they are so easy to install now, and then whenever u get it back just reinstall it. there is no security sticker to show evidence of tampering, so they cant prove anything. i wouldnt worry about that at all.
