do you need homebrew to play backup games/games burned from the computer if you already have a modchip(d2pro9)????

also, what other things does homebrew provide??

you will need homebrew enabled for Virtual Console/Wiiware, homebrew is useful for other things than that of course you can run a variety of emulators, mod your console menus appearance and startup screen, homebrew apps can let you use it as a http server, view google maps, run mplayer to play divx movies off your network or usb card, play dvds, run tech demos loads of stuff

Homebrew provides lots of applications..its easier to modify things on ur wii..
it cost nothing to have homebrew so i would advice u to have it..
No prbs in playing games...easy to install/block required update etc
