I bought a Wii in China last year and when I got it home I found out it was a Japanese version. Then I found out it had been chipped and would play both NTSC and PAL games, copied as well as original.
I then investigated changing the system menu to English and E. I accomplished this with the use of AnyRegion Changer through HBC.
Even though I have now installed 3.2E, I can switch between Japanese and European console regions.
But now all games work fine in Japanese mode, but none in European mode. I found out this was possibly due to the modchip being still set to NTSC/J and should be set to PAL/E. I opened my Wii and found this in it:
I tried to look for chips that are similar but cant seem to find any.
Any of you guys able to give me a hint?
Any advice on changing it to PAL/E?
