This is my chipset btw: GC2-D2C (v1)

if you guys had a choice which would you choose >> 100% Solderless D2PRO 9 or 100% Solderless wasabi v3

they are both good chips
wasabi v3 is a older chip.the wasabi zero is the next one but is a older chip.the wasabi dx is the next generation chip,is 100% solderless or with the v16 wiiclip act the dx as a wasabi zero
they do for what they made of
but the best way is solder the chip in

solderless d2pro9 is a better choice here, jtag programmer exists, comes with a jtag ribbon, its more futureproof and the latest version is stable

Also, what version do you recommend me having for this chip? I currently have 3.4 I think.

3.4 and 4.0 work fine on it, so any firmware is ok
