    Need help with wii clip

    Just Bought a wii today and went to put in the wii clip only to find that the chip to clip it on to is missing can any one help me out with this did they move it or am i pretty much screwed

    Have ya tried playing around with the bannerbomb and just soft mod it ? i havent used a chip never seen the point of it

    It's not missing. It probably has epoxy on it (black glue). You'll need a solderless chip in order to make it work or be brave enough to get the epoxy off (not recommended at all).

    XFactordx It's not missing. It probably has epoxy on it (black glue). You'll need a solderless chip in order to make it work or be brave enough to get the epoxy off (not recommended at all).

    no! that is not my problem i have a solderless chip and a wii with no place to put it i had it in my previous wii so i know what i was looking for and it wasnt there when i opened it up so i had to use back up loaders which sux cuz all my previous back ups are written on +Rs and the -R only seem to load when they want to. i would like to know if i could switch out dvd drive to a d2c drive and put my chip in that one

    as i read this then you have a d2/nothing drive.
    the only chips that working with this drive are drivekey,wasabi dx,flatmod.
    but you can swap the dvd drive and try it
