Question question regarding the "unable to read" problem

Hi, i have bought a Wii a few days ago and the vendor said its modchip with D2CKEY, it also came with Wii Sports Original..

    Wii version 3.4U

well the Wii Sports works without any problems, however i tried to burn a few iso that i dled from the net and so far always gives me the "unable to read disc"

    i tried only 3 different Medias Sony DVD-R / Emtec DVD-R (generic) / CyberComp DVD-R (generic)

always burning at 4x (lowest speed from my recorder) tried using ImgBurn and CDBurnerXP..

so my question is.. was i fooled ad my Wii isnt modchipped? or did i just have bad luck with the medias i tried and should buy different medias?

i dont really want to open my Wii and check the chip to make sure, so.. is it possible that the medias i bought isnt really compatible with my Wii?

Thx for anyone who can help me

probably something to do with the downloads. most downloads are modified and dont play on firmware higher than 3.2, also with downloading there is the possibility of data corruption which would lead to a bad image. then the media, burner, and burn speed come into play and can result in bad discs. so ur wii is most likely chipped, u just either havent had a successful burn yet, or have gotten a modified game that wont play on 3.4.
