    Us Bought wii in 2007, wiikey2 or wasabi zero should work?

    I bought my Wii back in 2007, or maybe even earlier, is it safe to say that WiiKey2 or the Wasabi Zero should work on them without problems?

    you can be sure by checking drive info here Wii Drive Chip Database
    im willing to bet the zero will work or get a dx and the clip for the zero ..the dx works on all drives but can be configured to run as a zero with clip..

    hope this helps

    Should be fine. Only way to know for sure is to open it up or check it against the Wii drive database.

    wo
    nifty site

    according to that site mine:

    The console has model number RVL-001(USA), produced for Canada/Mexico/USA.

    * There is a 100% chance the chipset is GC2-D2C (v1).

    I vote for wasabi it's really great, I have it. In addition wasabi keeps things current, hence if there's a need to upgrade chip they have downloadable programs to keep their chips up to date.
    But the choice is yours ^^.

    I believe the dx is top amoung the chips presently...even wiihacks recommends it ^^.

    If anything i share helps you, pls. give me a thumbs up thanks ...aloha.
