    Exclamation Wii not powering on!!

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but this morning when i went to power on my wii there was no red light! I unplugged it and replugged it again and still no red light!
I hope it is nothing to do with the modchip. It has been working fine all week and now it is not powering on!! Please i have had this wii since i can ever remember! Please respond as fast as you can!

Also my tv is not that great ok, it doesn't turn on sometimes so i put it onto one of those big docks, for that dock i put my wii plug on it too. That wall outlet which the dock is plugged into corresponds to a switch. I turn that switch constantly on and off so that means my wii is constantly unplugged and plugged in, does that change anything?

If you have a Wii plugged into an outlet that's controlled by a light switch, and you flick it on and off quickly, the powersupply will shut down. You will need to unplug the power supply cord from the outlet and let it sit with no power for a few minutes...then it should be ok. Don't plug the wii into an outlet that can be switched on and off quickly.

thanks i'll try that, so i just take the plug out and wait a few minutes? Should i leave the plug on the carpet or put it on something that doesn't have as much static?

No need to worry about static. Just unplug the two prong cord for a few minutes then plug it back in and the red light should be back on.

Most people say take the whole power brick off the Wii for about a half an hour then it should be fine.
