    LiteOn may work. Check it out with ImgBurn.
    even more, some LiteOn's could be upgraded with new f/w flashed.

    openning the wii once a week may help the heat dissipation and cooling of dvd-rom, why not ? lol

    Thanks for such fast responses and uh Yea I believe it about the soldering I just I'm not to experienced with soldering I'm not sending it in to anyone neither so I thought I'd do this and how can I check with ImgBurn if my drive is compatible?

    where do you live? check out some of the recommended installers on wiihacks and im sure you'll have nothing to worry about.

    odds are your drive is NOT compatible, only a select few rare lg drives work (if you mean compatible with ripping wii discs)

    i think they look something like LG 86lb blah blah blah...

    Oh no no I dont want to rip wii disk I just want to transfer the iso wii file that I downloaded and burn it onto a disk and be able to play it on my wii with using DriveKey

    Open ImgBurn, load a blank dvd-r into LiteOn. View the dialog box of ImgBurn, of which showing u the status of disc, wirter support,.....
