Bought used Wii w/ WiiKey .. What do I update?

    Hey there.

I just bought an used Wii which is supposedly modded. Since theres a WiiKey sticker on the site, I guess the machine is modded with a WiiKey.

Furthermore, there's a SD card in the machine with homebrew channel, WiiFlow and stuff.

The WiiFlow won't load from a Fat32 drive formatted with Wii Backup Manager, so I guess some of the software versions are outdated. I just dont have any clue which cIOS or anything is installed on the machine.

How do I update everything and make it run smoothly? Will I need to uninstall everything except the chip first? And how do I do that?

hey, checkout the wiikey site, they have a section that's called downloads and patches, you can find the updates there, you do need your serial number to dl them so unless you have access to the chip or the person who sold it to you's account you probably can't update from the site. hope this helps, otherwise open your console (if you know how) and check the number. also, if you dont have an external device for an sd card you may be out of luck. also from what i have seen wbfs manager is way better than wiiflow, much simpler and as far as i know its pretty much the only good program to load games, very basic and effective
