    Random Notes:
    - Only purchase chips from official WiiHacks board sponsors. This will greatly reduce the accidental purchasing of clones and fake supplies. Modchip-Depot (ModderMan) and CanadaMods (SpyMan) are very involved on the forums. They're easily contacted and approachable.

    - [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] and [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] are very dated, therefore not included in this comparison.

    - The only truly solderless modchip is the Wasabi DX, The Drivekey,.

    - The WiiKey 2 and D2Pro websites copy and pasted each other. Their chip's functions are identical due to this.

    - The Wasabi v3 is being destocked by retailers in favor of the new Wasabi Zero. Also, the Wasabi Zero listed no specific functionality on the official website. It's being assumed that what's on the v3 is being carried over.

    - Not all modchips are referenced on the chart. If you feel that one should be on there, please let me know. I did purposely pass on the Argon stuff due to their selling / bundling of Homebrew with their newest product.

    - If something is incorrect, again, please let me know. I went off of what was listed on each individual website.

Not sure what Foxit Reader is, but try the Adobe Reader.

Thanks e39 for you amazing contribution to the forum. I've been following your tutorials everywhere and they have helped saved a lot of time.

One question I have is what do you mean by "wasabi zero is the only true solderless chip"? As far as I can tell is a chip with a solderless clip. You can also get clips for wiikey, d2cpro, etc. so I'm a bit confused. Does Wasabi zero offer any other adavantage? Thanks

Thanks a ton for this chart. A lot of great information and appreciate it.

Btw, it looks like the WiiKey2 and D2Pro v3 are the best chips of them all. Do you guys agree? I ask, b/c I was thinking of getting a D2Pro v3 chip. Good choice?

    Thanks for any replies.

This chart needs a mild update.

DriveKey has really come onto the scene strong. If you're system is deemed epoxy'ed or D2Nothing by WiiDrives.com, it's really your best solution.

Personally, I'm a WiiKey 2 owner since December 08. With the HomeBrew Channel, WadManager, and modchip ... I can play everything on the market today.
