Idont have the homebrew channel my wii is still at 3.3u what i need to know is im fixing to install a modchip if i update to 3.4 will it make any diffrence on how the chip works .The update cant affect the modchip right..
3.3 - current ONLY affect homebrew, and Fake signing bug
since you have 3.3 if you dont plan on playing Pal or NTSC/J or what ever region you are and the 2 imports for you, or fake signed games like Guitar hero with custom songs, or getting all the violance back in a game etc
if you dont plan on doing either, it makes NO DIFFERENCE
