yes, and you need to do something different to get it to work but its more hassle than its worth for the 3.3 update

OK thanks for the help.
i am a bit confused now.
is it recomended for me noe to install the homebrew cahnnel?
and what to do with the 3.3 ver? should i update or not?
will i be able to get in the net without 3.3 upgrade?
i just want to run the homebrew to run wad files , will thi work after the 3.3 update?
soory for all the hard work i cause

3.2 is the best firmware you CAN do all that in 3.3 but it becomes more of a hassle, with the fake sign bug patched, i hear Gecko OS doesnt work anymore, and you cant install wads on the most recent firmware update, there is NO REASON to upgrade past 3.2, no game requires it, and no Wad thus far requires it so you shouldnt deal with problems that arnt needed, and when that time comes someone will make custom firmware, like they did on the psp
you SHOULD install the HBC and upgrade to beta 9, get the upgrades to the files you want, and then chill with 3.2 till there is a need to go to 3.3

I have a problem
i downloaded the beta 8 ISO and burn it with nero and imgburn on verbatim + dvd disc and i keep telling me the it cannot read the disc ( on the wii )
??

i tried it yesturday, with a Memorex dvd -R with imgburn, and it worked fine
just keep trying something is bound to work, and it is recomended to use -R less work for the laser

to use the iso/disc you have to have a modchip.......otherwise you have to use twilight

To run a backup game you need a modchip, or backup loader v.3 through Homebrew. I think that is what syst3merror was trying to say.
