sdcard slot help

hi i have installed hbc onto my wii and everything was fine using the twilight hack through the sd drive
i have now come to do my sons and the wii wont recognise the sd card through data management to view the files on the sd card but i can use the sd card through the photochannel to view photo's and it works fine any ideas as to why this could be , i have tried numerous sd cards too
thanks in advance

Did you PLAY Twilight Princess at least once on your son's Wii .. so that a save would be registered first? If not .. just pop in the dvd and start it up .. once past the screen where you put in your name and epony's name (anything) . save the game.
Then go out and look at the Data Management screen again .. and should pick up your save on the SDCard.

did you try reformatting the card and then put the files on again? Make sure it is formatted to FAT.

hi guys i have tried both the above but will try again as my son has played twilight princess manytimes before and has numerous saves to the on board memory but i shall keep you updated thanks again also i have tried formatting to fat and running the sd card formatter tool and installer available from this site i guess i must have a wii of a dodgy batch just cant really seem to understand as to why it wont work because i can view pics from the sd cards.
wonder if its because i got this wii within the first week of the launch and mine was purchased last year
