Someone do me a favour? Don't want my dad killing me coz of Wii hack! - Wiihacks

Hi guys,

My family will kill me if I try to hack my wii, so I posted on here for help (Mods or admins feel free to change the location of this post :D)!

I want the Internet Channel (>:D) and I didn't get my Wii when the beta was out, so now I have to pay.

However, if someone has the PAL version of the Internet Channel, and an SD card, could they upload the folder (FOLDER, NOT FILES) using like winRAR or something?

It would be great if someone could.

If you just search for the word opera in the forums you might find you you are looking for, but I hope you realise that you will need the Homebrew channel and wadmanager app to install it.

Ok. could you walk me though that? Also, why would you need it - If you are putting it onto an SD card exactly like it would be if you got it from a friend's Wii?

EDIT: I just searched and I didn't find what I was looking for. All someone has to do is copy the channel to their SD card, put it in their card reader in the PC and upload the files.. can't be that hard?

Just download a wad like everyone else. It ain't that hard, actually, its pretty safe.

Yes you can download the Opera WAD file and put it on the SD but to use it it needs to be installed on the wii and you need to hack your wii and install the Homebrew Channel for that.

Yes, for that there is 2 ways to do it. If you install a mod chip on you Wii then you can just use the DVD installer but if it's not modded then you need to do the Zelda Twilight Hack.

In all honesty, if you just want the internet, the easiest way to do it really is paying the $5 Dollars. It's not even a lot of money, you'll save yourself time and confusion, and you won't be at any risks of getting caught for illegal activity.
