Sorry if this has been answered before but I have found nothing on any sites. I have a NTSC wii which i purchased in the US while living there. I have now moved back to the UK and am trying to changer the weather and news region (both of which are centred around the US). I have tried to change weather region but all my options are for USA or south America. Does anyone know how to update or load a new version of the weather/news channel. Ny wii is modded with a wii key and I have a copy of Zelda.
Well I would say that you should get the Homebrew and then use the channel deleter to remove the weather and news channel then put the PAL channels on there. Since it is a NTSC Wii though, I don't know if that will work at all. :\ Just use the weather and news channel and look for the UK when your using them.
That's an interesting situation. I'm not sure that you can install the weather and news channels of other regions in a safe way. The only way people have gotten those channels from another region is by Semi-bricking their wiis by carrying out a Wii update using game of another region and thats not a good thing and not recommended.
Yeah pretty much what I said you have a NTSC and the PAL channels won't really enjoy being put on there, if you could get them on there. Just look for info pertaining to you in them :P lol
Thanks guys, I guess I will just have to live with it. It is just frustrating as I can drill down to palm beach Florida but for England al I get is London and no other region.
