Wii Points Hacking - Wiihacks

so WADs are everywhere. the next logical step is to hack (or work out) wii points itself. so far i know:

- Wii points cards are "Randomly" generated.
(but random dosen't exist. it can only be an extremealy complicated pattern

)
- US wii points cards all Begin with 1

(i reaserched through other projects and discovered this connection myself, also if you enter 1... into a PAL wiishop, it will say that the card is in the wrong region no matter what the code (even works with 1000,000...)
- ~~UK codes start with 13 or 16~~
(from a anomalous source - FAIL (says wrong region)

does anyone have anyother information

Sure. How about, much like the reason many keygens don't work for PC games' online play, would be that Nintendo knows which Wii points have actually been assigned to a card. Don't know whether or not cards get activated at registers that sell them (retail-wise).

However, if you use a points code that hasn't been issued to the wild, seems to be a good way to get yourself banned from online *anything* forever with that console.

Just a thought :-p

try to download a txt file with a number that has alredy been regestered just that people buy a card and put that number there and put it online

i think because wads are everywhere, thats the exact reason why you dont need to hack the wii points system. interfering with nintendo's system directly is wrong, stupid, and surely legal suicide

and i ment as the next step as DLC WADs are generally broken.

Have yet to experience a broken WAD of any kind.
I'm with anthortic -- anyone that even attempts to decipher the points-code algorithm might find themselves in legal hot water in many countries, most notably the US or UK.
