Red Steel Problems - Wiihacks

Hi

I just downloaded Red Steel from a torrent called [Wii] Red Steel [PAL][Multi5][ESPALWii.com]

This suggests that it is a PAL game in English.

However, when I burn the game onto a disc, and insert into the Wii, it runs off my Jap Wii fine without Gecko OS or anything! However, it is in Japanese

Is there any way to get this into English as whenever I use Gecko OS and change default boot language (or something like that) in the config menu it just loads, then freezes at 'Licensed by Nintendo'

Any help? Cheers

In Jap units, certain games just won't play. I don't own a Jap unit myself but I suggest you read up on how to switch it to NTSC and your problems are over.

The game works fine, but it is just the fact that the text is in Japanese, where instead I downloaded the game assuming it was a PAL game in english...

Is there any way of having the game in english?

unless it has the option to do so in-game. the answer would be no unfortunatly

try googling it. you never know!

Couple more bits of info...

When I read the comments for the torrent, people were saying the game was in English.

And the game I have downloaded using that torrent has all the signs of being a NTSC (J) game where it works on my Modded Jap Wii fine and is in japanese.

This may be the problem that it is just a NTSC (J) game

That's real strange, I've been using that group (ESPAL) and like you say all the games have been in English for me, have you ever heard of Jap consoles being able to do that by googling it or anything? ... I was literally about to start downloading red steel so is there anyone else downloaded this version to confirm it's english?
