Update problem

Hi guys, i have had a Jap Wii for about a month now, and I had semi bricked my wii, but using a repad firmware I updated to a newish firmware, and that unbricked my wii (in the sense that I could see the settings page again). However, once I did this, the Japanese wii told me stuff, and before I knew it, it was updating via the internet. I let this carry on until it finished, and it looked good.

However, I plugged in a downloaded version of SSBB, but to my horror, there was a japanese message in white on a black screen, with the word OFF and something with me to read the instruction manual (written in jap).

All my other games work, apart from SSBB(J), Super mario galaxy(Intro screen is Jap, but rest is in eng), and We ski (pretty sure its the US)!
I'm stumped as to why its these three games!

Any ideas? Could I downgrade?

Thanks very much in advance.

If your Wii is at 3.3J and the three games are Trucha Signed then the games will not load without the aid of GeckoOS.

There is now a way to Downgrade your Wii firmware and also a way to change your Wii's region, that is, making your Jap Wii into a either a USA wii (NTSC-U) or European Wii (PAL), but it comes with risks. If you read around you will find the information.
