it didnt for me because i tried several times. i saved the game changed roms got and error message telling me i couldnt save, then i reloaded the rom with the previous save game data and it said could not load save file and so there was no save file when i loaded the game up.
you have to go to save manager and pick save state it should save now this is for the wii emu i think it's what ur talkin about don't kno bout da computa 1
