Just wondering if there is a hack for using the wiimote with the virtual console games.

nope, you can use gamecube controllers though. If you don't have one then you can order one from Meritline.com for $8.99. (make sure you use the promo code: wii40poff)

I believe, for the VC games and Emulated (Rom) Games you use Gamecube controller and for Wii Ware games yu use Classic Controller.

It seems that I can't use the Gamecube controller with NES games. Has anyone else tried this?

You should be able too.

Try removing the batteries in the wiimote after you launch a VC game.

The Wii always selects the wiimote as player one, even is a Gamecube controller is inserted.

you can use the wiimote, gc, or the classic controller for the vc games, you just can't use the wiimote coz there's not enough buttons onit!

[the classic controller can be used with wii games too, so it might be worth getting.]
