Ca Mario Kart USA on Wasabi. NTSC USA Wii. help.
kk. just got Mario Kart USA NTSC, backup obviously.
Have Wasabi chip installed. North American Wii.
When I insert the disc, It tells me that It will now perform a system update.
Do I allow it? Will it brick my Wii, etc? Can I go online with Mario Kart?

Sorry, I'm relatively new to the Wii chip scene. wacko.gif
Any input would be greatly appreciated, I'm itching to play this game. lol.

If the game is the same version as your Wii being NTSC then you can update without a problem....The only time you will brick or semi-brick is if you update different region code games....

And yes you can play all games online without a problem....You will really enjoy Mario Kart online....By far the best game to date on the wii....

mario kart rocks on wfc XD. NO LAGS. *look at brawl* >.> big different.

help. a newbie
i put in the mario kart backup and it updated my kid's wii. it detected the game, i press the start button and i get some kind of error. "Error #001, unauthorized device has been detected"

Did you update from the Mario Kart file that is the same region as your wii...? Or was it a different region game....?

i stopped the update becasue i got scared. Now i want to update and it wont let me
