**Aparrent FREE Wii Opera Internet Channel** - Page 7 - Wiihacks

I downloaded and installed the link wasa67 posted : [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
and on the wii menu I clicked it, and when it loaded it said 'This channel can't be used'
Can someone help me?

Is your Wii NTSC-U (USA)? if not then what you downloaded is the Opera Channel for USA Wiis. You need the Opera Channel appropriate for you Wii region.

Edit: Just saw your other post. Since you bought your Wii in Australia, you would have PAL wii so you need the PAL (european) Opera Channel.

I have a JP Spec Wii Console but it's modded to US (Language).

Do i then dl the NTSC US version? will that be right?

depends what the Default region is

if you changed the wii to read NTSC/U then yes if its NTSC/J then no
worst comes to worst get a region changer on the file, and make it region free xD

well, i set my country to US. I guess that means i'm on the US region since i'm also able to visit the US Wii Online Store. |
