Wii Remote & Nunchuck LED Mod...Please read?
What type of LED should I buy to do this project. I know I need to buy a 3mm, but how about the MCD rating? Is 12,000 MCD too high? Do you also need a resistor or is this just optional?

i think he's looking more for changing the color of the blue led light on the controls rather then the infared's from the sensor ..
