wii mod chip installed but cant play any backups?

Right, i have installed a wii mod chip to play backups (only!!) of my orig games. But guess what... they dont work. I have followed the burning instructions to the letter (x2 speed etc...)but my wii will still not recognise any disks i burn off. any ideas??? is there any way to test to see if the mod chip is installed and working correctly? thanks!

There are a lot of topics at wiiiso.com. Factors include the model of the burner. You cant use any burner it has to be a specific Philips brand, i juts can recall what the model is but if you go to the website you will be able to read about it.

... um i'm using a LG burner and it works perfectly..

Any burner should work. its only dumping that requires a special dvd-rom.

The DVD-Rom is a LG brand too i forgot the model though

Your problem might be your mod chip

Send a message via AIM to Severedshadow
first of all it would help if we had a little background information.
what mod chip do you have installed?
what model of system you have? ([Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register])
what type of discs are you using?
where did you get your iso's?
From that some good help can be found.
