Yes, there is no reason why you can not. However, thy staff will undoubtable ask you to refrain from playing during take off and landing.

Strictly speaking, no. The reason is that the DS has wireless built in and during take-offs and landings, it may interfere with navigation. But if they don't know, you should be OK, and what does it matter if you arrive in Oslo when you really wanted to go to Palma!

We used a PSP and they didn't say anything to us so i wouldn't worry.
