I was going to suggest going into priiloader and removing the wiiflow boot.dol from the installed file, but I think that's
a bad idea, as you'll probably go back to playing games through wiiflow. Anywho, just exit wiiflow when it boots, and
go back to the system menu, and then insert the skylanders disc and play it from the disc channel.

    Save file for North America????

I can not locate a save file for the North American version (can PAL) and I wondered if there was something "special" about the US version or if it's simply a matter of nobody posting a save at the usual websites? Any help locating one would be greatly appreciated.

    Ios 223

EDIT: And please dont just randomly post questions in places around the forum where they do not belong. We have to keep some organization here. You posted in a thread that is 2 years old and about wii remotes not working. I have moved your post to the appropriate section.

Your advice to change the IOS to 223 worked perfectly for me - nice one! I have version 4.1E and couldn't get the USB portal to connect. The initial problem some people are having (system upgrade prompt) wasn't a problem for me because I have Priiloader and disabled it.

Thanks Christ I didn't waste too much time on this one - thanks!

I have a Wii NTSC-U system but am living in Australia right now.

My son wanted to get Skylanders for his birthday and I'm wondering if he will be able to play the Wii Pal version game on the NTSC-U system.

Just want to be sure b4 i get it from the store.

    cheers.

If your Wii is softmodded, yes. If not, then you'll need to softmod.
Search for the Any wii guide.

Thanks for your reply mate. Just to clarify further, if my Wii is already softmodded,

Am I right to say that I can use CFG usb loader to play the game from the DVD even though it's a Pal version disc?

You would use Neogamma to play from disc.

    USB-port

    Hi everyone!

I have a problem with the usb-receiver not being detected. I have a soft modded Wii with USB Loader GX and all my games on an external hard drive. That hard drive needs the lower USB-port. Now, when I plug in Skylanders USB-device it does not detect it. If i put the hard drive on the upper USB port it says it is a slow USB port and don't connect. So, what shall I do? Since the rest of you seem to get this to work....

And one more thing. I can't use the disc drive since it's broken.

Thankful for all help I can get!

Are your softmod, and loader up to date with the latest revision? If not, then updating them would probably solve your problem.
Also, I remember that waiting for the game to prompt you to plug in the portal USB solved that problem for some users.

    Hello Guys,

I confirm that Skylanders also runs using Wiiflow, my Wii has 4.1E and I updated my IOS's using this guide (the best):

I'm Running Skylanders using IOS 249 and Portal from PC version.
