So are you going to set there and bash me because of that? If so man that is really low on your part I am just saying what I had to do to make the game work.

I think the point is that downgrading your cios of 249 may work for this particular game, but there is no doubt that it will break the possibility for alot of other games that previously worked ok.
Whereas using the 224, would not have such an adverse effect on the overall playability.

Thus when other users use your advice, they will have issues with other games, and end up wondering why lol.

By installing more Cios, you increase your range of playability options. So it only makes sense to increase your opportunity.

Exactly my point. I see no "it didn't work with mauifrog's softmod any Wii guide." And there's more than one cIOS in it. As this is a new release, we do not want bad/faulty/incomplete information out there --- nor do we want to "break" other games that work for existing configurations/cIOS.

So Nightstah is aggressively trying to point you in a direction that increases your options, finds out what the problem is with your installation, and keeps methods that require cios altering to a minimum.

I would say that's a pretty good deal lol.

And posting stuff like "I had to accept an update to play this" as you did earlier, is also bad advice in terms of a wiihacks motto known to all: "never accept an official update." This also points to an incomplete or non-wiihacks softmod. We'd not want a new, unsuspecting user to do that either...

My posts aren't about bashing you, they are about counseling you to include complete information and offered as a safeguard to other users who may blindly follow advice that may not be the best advice to take...

Cant get the two wbfs files to merge

I have tried loading the split wbfs files to my drive using wbfs backup manager, it tries to but then ends with an error. I've also tried converting it to an iso with no luck. I tested the archive in winrar and it says its good. But when I tried opening the rar files with wbfs manager 3.0 I had no luck. I've heard from others that they had no problems. Can someone please help me?

Just wanted to throw this out there. Mine is loading fine with CFG and cIOS 250 base 58 from the d2xinstaller package. Flawless in campaign and online both. I'm old school. I buy the game and load it from the Wii optical drive directly to the WBFS partition of the hard drive.
