wii sports +wii sports resort goes black screen

i have the wii sports- wii sports combo pack
when i try to run it in a sotmodded machine it comes up to the screen where you pick wii sports or wii resort and when i click on one screen goes black and have to do a hard reset.
i am running it through usb cfg loader and tried the 3 alt dols that show on it but still freezes

    any ideas?

I am not sure how it works with the multi game disc, but with Sports Resort you need to watch the video once to get it to work. Just put the original disc in, watch the motion plus video then it should work on the loader after that.

Does it run fine from the disc? If so, I would try re ripping it.

And did the softmod consist of mauifrog's "Softmod ANY Wii" or some external failguide? Just trying to rule out possible culprits... a SysCheck would certainly not hurt.

Good call Nighty, I was fishing for other reasons. I make the mistake of assuming the mod is good.

Lovely... screwy fonts. Oh, and not a mauifrog "Any Wii" softmod SysCheck to boot. Sorry, if you followed some other site's failguide, best to ask those folks why the world is flat as opposed to round.
