OFC it does, just boot it in gecko OS, no problem, or use your D2pro update it, and block updates =P

Ok, so what version of the update does it contain? 3.3 or 3.4?

1st post so go easy on me guys.

Tries to play a backup of Animal Crossing last night and it scared the pants off of me with the Update screen. Not seen that one before so I did not proceed. I usually just brickblock as a matter of course but I get the blackscreen with this game (everything else works including MK, SSBB and SMG).

I think I am already on 3.3 (How do I check for definite?) and the image is a PAL version so it matches my Wii.

From reading the site I gather than I cannot brick my Wii by accepting the update but I will not be able to install Homebrew. Is that correct?

If I do the update will it tell me what version before I accept?

    Thanks in advance.

just because its your first, doesnt make you immune to anything, have some balls, and just ask =\

you would be amazed, but it has 3.4 with IOS 38, if u install IOS with homebrew channel, and no where do you people get this stupid info, im serious where, so i can make a topic saying that site is full of BS

YOU CAN INSTALL HOMEBREW AT ANY POINT AND TIME!

you will be 3.4 if u update, but u only need the IOS, so you can install it via wad manager, with homebrew channel, the IOS is posted in error 002, search for it

    Thanks Admiral,

Let's see if I have got this straight

    Modchip + 3.4

    Pro's
    • Homebrew channel can be installed.

    • It won't brick my wii.

    Cons
    • I will not be able to play any ISO that has been scrubbed.

    • I will not be able to play an ISO that has been brick blocked
    • Wii can now update to new firmware without my knowledge.

    Modchip + 3.3 or lower

    Pro's
    • Homebrew channel can be installed.

    • It won't brick my wii.

    • I will be able to play any ISO that has been scrubbed

    • Wii cannot update to new firmware without my knowledge.

    • I can brick block to remove updates.

    Cons

    Are there any????

OK, How do I tell if my ISO has been scrubbed? I can check if the region and updates using WUM. Is this the same thing?

    thats 3.2 not 3.3

    it will be MUCH LOWER

    like between 200 mb - 2.5 gigs

Yes, but you can also use common sense, or look up the names

    but 3.2 has some cons
you got to pay attention, and search from time to time
