USB Loading - Softmod

Works with:

• Hermes' IOS223 v4/v5.1
• cIOSX rev19/20/21 [37 base]
• cIOSX rev20/21 [56 base]

Does not work with:

• Hermes' IOS222 v4/v5.1
• Hermes' IOS224 v5.1
• cIOS38 rev14/17
• cIOSX rev19/20/21 [38 base]
• cIOSX rev19/20/21 [57 base]

How to Install the Required cIOS

• IOS223 v4/v5.1: Install IOS202, 222, 223, 224
• cIOSX rev19, 20 or 21 [37 or 56 base] [pick the slot that suits you]: Custom IOSx Rev 21 Installation Guide

IMPORTANT

• If you followed one of mauifrog his softmod guides, load the game with IOS223, IOS247 or IOS250.
• If you followed Cile his softmod guide, load the game with IOS223 or IOS249.

How to Install a Back-up Loader

• Configurable USB Loader: Installing Configurable USB Loader [GUIDE]
• WiiFlow: Wiiflow USB Loader: Installation and Settings
• uLoader: uLoader by Hermes

How to Set the Loader to Use a Specific cIOS

• Configurable USB Loader: Select The Game-> Press 1 to go into Options-> IOS = Select which cIOS you want to use for the game -- Press 2 to save
• WiiFlow: Use a different boot ios .dol or Select a Game -> Go into Settings-> Page 2-> IOS = Select which cIOS you want to use
• uLoader: Select a game-> Configure-> cIOS/Boot-> Select the cIOS you want to use.

Disc Loading - Softmod

Works with:

Does not work with:

• Hermes' IOS222 v4/v5.1
• Hermes' IOS224 v5.1
• cIOS38 rev14/17
• cIOSX rev19/20/21 [38 base]
• cIOSX rev19/20/21 [57 base]

If you play Black Ops through NeoGamma, this game will cause a conflict. Black Ops only works with 57 base, and Worms only works with 37 or 56 base. NeoGamma only supports slot 249, so there's no room for both of the required bases. It's recommended to use uLoader in this situation.

Loading the Game with uLoader

• If you need to install uLoader: uLoader by Hermes
• If you need to install IOS223 v4/v5.1: Install IOS202, 222, 223, 224

Open uLoader and insert your Worms: Battle Islands disc. After it's done loading, open ''Configure'' > ''cIOS/BOOT'', and select ''cIOS 223''. Press ''Ok'' twice and load the game. To play Black Ops through uLoader, see Call of Duty: Black Ops [Guide]. To play all your other games through uLoader, use either ''cIOS 222'' or ''cIOS 223''.

Loading the Game with NeoGamma

• If you need to install cIOSX rev19, 20 or 21 [37 or 56 base] [slot 249]: Custom IOSx Rev 21 Installation Guide
• If you need to install NeoGamma: The Latest Neogamma Channels

Open NeoGamma and insert your Worms: Battle Islands disc to load the game.

Hardmods

Uses IOS56-64-v5661


Do not accept the update!

• Install Priiloader to block updates if you haven't done so yet: Add Priiloader to 4.1U or 4.1E or 4.2U or 4.2E, 0.5 (r99)

Install the IOS found at the beginning of this spoiler using IOS Updating for Hardmods.

Ok, I finally found a game that does not work even with the guide. I am moded with mauifrogs setup (except for cios249) and have tried every one of them in cfg and gx. most of them stick me on the wriststrap screen and some of them blackscreen on me. gx is 2.0, cfg is v60. Any ideas for me?

Delete and re-rip the game with Cfg. Set it to load with cIOS224 [57] v5.1 or try a base of 56 or 58 with rev 21.

I should still test if the game works with 58 base, but everytime I try to use it, it gives me some error. Probably need to update CFG to v65 to use 58 base.

Base 58 worked for me when I tested with v60 (not for this game just in general).

Hmmmm.....re ripped with cfg but got a long list of errors at the end of the install. I set it to load w/ 224 and it looked like it was going to work. It made it past the wrist strap screen then froze up as the logo was spinning in. Sounds like a bad disc, or maybe a bad drive in my wii????

Do you remember what errors Cfg gave you? Could be a bad disc. Rip another game to test if it's your drive (doesn't sound like it).

Yeah, try another disk. I'm sure this game works perfectly fine with a 37 or 56 base cIOS.

It was a long list of 8-12 digit numbers (not sure, but were all the same amount of digits) all followed by -2.
It is a retail disc I just got today

Maybe you could try WiiFlow with IOS223?
