Been trying to get this to work and it's getting pretty frustrating so i hope i can find a solution to this problem <_< i am currently using a Kingston 4 GB USB if that helps. Oh and just did this syscheck on the Wii, here's the report i got after picking IOS249:-

    "SysCheck v2.01 by Double_A

    Run on IOS36 (rev 3094)

    Region: NTSC-U
    System Menu: 4.DU (v417)
    Hollywood v0v11
    Console ID: 69796263
    Boot2 v2

    Found 66 titles.
Found 33 IOS on this console. 8 of them are stub.

IOS249(rev 17): Trucha bug, ES identity, NAND Access, USB 2.0"

    Help greatly appreciated!
One thing I am sure of is that both IOS222 and 223 v4 work perfect in combination with this game. The first thing you should try, is re-install both IOS222/223 v4, and see if the game boots with one of the two. If not, you should set the language to English, and try all of the videomodes availible.

If all of this doesn't work, you might want to dump the game again and see if it works. If that doesn't help you either, I place my bets on the Kingston flash drive not being compatibile with the Wii. What is the flash drive formatted as? FAT32, NTFS or WBFS?

Nope, still doesn't work and iirc, i directly formatted it using the WBFS manager. It's probably my USB though, have read somewhere that someone faced a similar problem but got it solved after changing his flash drive but i just wanted to make sure.

You might want to redump your game and see if that makes any difference. That sounds like a dump issue to me, not like a cIOS that doesn't work. I have almost completed the game using IOS222, and haven't had a single problem.

thanks for the help, I might not get a chance to try this until maybe monday, but I'm sure last time I tried, I couldnt even get syscheck to load either!

I started with a hardware modded wii, and have added various softmods etc since, added and removed stuff, changed SD cards etc. currently mainly using usbloadergx and a seagate usb drive. As i said, every single game I have works apart from this one, including goldeneye and other brand new games.

will deffo try the "english" and every video mode first.

USB Loader GX doesn't support 224 or 248. See the guide for USB Loading (first page), install option 1 and change the IOS in USB Loader GX to 250.
If this IOS doesn't work, you have to try option 2 or 3. To use option 3, you either have to use Configurable USB Loader v60 or WiiFlow 2.1.

Just press A or 2 before the opening scene plays (on the controls confirmation screen). If it doesn't change the controls, back-up your current savegame (if you have any) to an SD Card, and delete the one on your Wii. See if it's fixed now.
