It might ask you to update but just install priiloader and block disc updates, install IOS57 and play the game.

i might have already done that, i did a tutorial that told me to install tons of stuff a few years back, but i was a noob then and didnt know what any of it was

Well install the IOS57 linked with wad manager (in the disc channel loading section of the guide). To check if you have priiloader boot the wii while holding reset if it goes to the system menu then you need to install priiloader because you don't have it.

Hey everybody. I hadn't been able to get online this whole week (zombies or multiplayer) until just now. Until now, I would get to the 'found 50 match' screen, and it would lock up, requiring a hard powerdown. The music would go into an infinite loop, and I would be stuck.
Here is what worked for me:
---USBloaderGX and cIOS rev20 249(57 base). I also use a LAN adaptor in the other USB port.
---The only thing I did different now is that I installed the IOS57 wad from the first post. Didn't think that this made ANY difference with USB loading. It might not, might just have gotten lucky now. There is a little bit of choppiness/glitchiness, but still very playable.
I am freakin' STOKED!!!!

Yeah, installing IOS57 didn't help you. The problems are random as far as I can tell. Works great one minute, works bad the next. I don't even have IOS57 installed and I have only experienced that freeze 2 times.

Install 224 using IOS249 (if I remember what you are trying to do....which is install cIOS224 right?).

I (thought I) knew it didn't. Figured I'd share what I did, since it was working at the moment. Funny, after a couple matches, it went down the crapper again! Oh well. I have all weekend to goof with it. Thanks for this whole thing, Krank. After I read through the entire thread, I see you're a man of patience!! At least I tried everything before posting!! This thread would probably have less than 50 posts in it if people read the stuff. Thanks, again.
