If the second profile allows you to download the update properly, then go back out and sign in to your original profile. It's worth a shot I guess.
Sadly I've already tried that too, along with the adding spaces before your profile name =/

I'm out of ideas. If the game and console are both the correct region you should be good to download. I hate to say waste a disc, but maybe you should try ripping the retail and burning it again. Be sure to burn at 2.4x.

    Spoiler

You have darkcorp installed.. that might be your issue... one of your cIOScorp IOS might be jacked.. you could remove it and follow the any wii guide to fix your soft mod....

Or try running your back up through the original disc channel since you have darkcorp installed.

I'm not even sure what darkcorp is but luckily I found the problem, I had ocarina turned on so I tried turning it off, and walah, works like a charm now, thanks for your advice & time
