If I buy the game and rip the copy, I won't need to force it to load region right?
Right, if you buy the NTSC version of the game (what they sell in canada.....that you should already have).

The other questions are offtopic. The first can be answered by google (read for more then 2 minutes ).

No, don't fire more questions. Stay on topic. Please re-read the warning at the begining of this thread and do not post anymore off topic questions.

And no need to post and say "sorry"...I will just assume that you are and forgive you

Sorry, I didn't know it was off topic. Just asking if Black Ops has a significant difference in lag when loaded on by USB and CD.

I hate to disagree with anyone here, but there "could" be a difference in loading this game from dvd vs usb. This was the first game to stream maps directly off of the dvd. I had to try numerous combinations of cios's and loaders before I finally got one to work without any lagging, namely CFG60 249 v20 and 224 57 base. My hard drive was the prob?---maybe. Either way loading off of the original disk I had no probs but I got a framerate drop from hell when loading w/usb until I used the aforementioned config.

So I dont think your post was a FAIL. (except for the start of it when you said "Sorry" right after Krank told you not to say "Sorry"...lol)

Yeah it was the sorry i was commenting on made me laugh lol and also the wii doesn't read cd's ,Dvd's on the other hand seem to work better and as many have said they were able to get the update off USB or Back up or believe it or not the original disc so i have read all of this thread and if everybody else did this thread wouldn't be so long
But I am 1 of the unlucky few who have a working game but no online or an update prompt but i will patiently wait for my fix and post no more

Your fix is in the first post.

    Install Hermes 5.1 224 57 base.

Install wiishop v20 per the guide.

Log on to wiishop and accept the agreement. (do not update system menu if prompted)

Back out and use CFG loader 249 w/ m224 as load for this game.

The only loaders that support IOS224 are Cfg Loader, Wiiflow and Uloader.

im having trouble finding a loader that has Cios224 i tried Cfg loader it loads and stays there forever. I dont see ios 224 as an option on Wiiflow and im trying the latest Wiiflow and Uloader isn't opening up my USB hard drive. By the way Im using the top USB port my bottom USB port is broken is there a Uloader that opens up the top USB port

Using the top USB port will not work --- at least not for most loaders. Isn't there an option in uLoader to use the top port (port 1)?
See if it's there, because other loaders don't support it as far as I know.
