if you got 3.2 dont update past, just boot in gecko OS
if u use gamma do this V
or install Starfall *3.2 only*
and enable region free, and boot in gamma
Thanks for your help admiral! I think i'm gonna update my firmware to 3.2 and then install starfall... this seems like a simple solution that i've seen around. Hopefully it'll just 'plug and play' afterwards...
I just burnt the game and tried it in the wii straight ie not using gamma, cause i havn't installed it yet. Atm i got PAL wii, firmware 3.2e, hbc and starfall. Tried to just put it into the wii and play, so the game in the channel, but after i click start the screen just goes black... and freezes.
Are there any specific ios files i need? I pretty much havn't installed any...
Anyway, gonna go install gamma loader and see if the game boots properly...
It works through the gamma loader.

I don't think this is the right thread either Admiral but thanks anyway man. I can play the game fine in Japanese I just wanted to learn the menus in english.
This is the EXACT Reason I decided to Softmod My Wii!
TATSUNOKO VS CAPCOM
アーケード ＝Arcade Mode
バーサス ＝Vs. Mode
サバイバル = Survival
タイムアタック = Time Attack
プレイデータ ＝Play Data
オプション = Option
ショップ = Shop
オリジナルゲーム ＝Original (Mini) Games

Didn't see it all out in the open, so just here for those who just look at the first and last page.
one of the best wii gaems of 08. i bought an arcade stick especially for it. I heard one of the main reasons it wont leave japan is that most of the tatsunoko charachters are owned by all sorts of different companies in the west, and it would therefore be a logistical nightmare getting all those different cmpanies to sign off on it n still have it be profitable, just the way the cookie crumbles i guess, hooray for Geko is all i have to say really.
