You already have them. You just need to go into the settings in your backup loader and set the game to use one of those IOS.

Thanks again Krank. I don't have a USB hard disc and it's a DVD backup I'm running. However, I'm sure there's something in Bootmii that will allow me to change the Cios.

No bootmii has nothing to do with this. Run it from neogamma (you can only use IOS249 with neogamma) or Uloader.

I have tried Neogamma and forced a NTSC 480i, but it didn't work. Can you change the Cios with anything other than a USB loader as I don't have an external USB drive for your other fixes.

You can load the disc using Uloader...you do not need an external attached. ULoader - Insert the Disc and load the game or Press 2 to get to the Disc Menu while in uLoader.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Cheers, about to install Uloader now. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works. Thanks again.

Okay...I managed to install Uloader and the Hermes CIOS 222 menu. From the CIOS menu, I installed Cios 224 (which was the only one not on my system).
Uloader didn't load Goldeneye regardless of the switches that I made. I then proceeded to try other games that were unsuccessful and got three running with Uloader. So very happy with that.
However, my fixation of getting Goldeneye going, I decided to burn again with a Taiyo Yuden DVD-r silver disc (last one was Verbatin dvd+r which I use for DVD movies successfully) and at a slower speed (2.4x) and it loaded no problem.

I also noticed that on loading other discs that ran no problem from boot, were getting disc errors, so I did a lens clean and voila... they are also running no problems now. I think it's easy to forget to do this when you are trying out so many old discs and dirt collects on the lens.

Anyway, thanks so much for all the help I've received on this thread....especially to Krank. I think it's worth trying different media to see if there's any difference, because before my Wii was bricked, all my old games were burnt on Taiyo silver discs and I never had a problem with any of them running. And yet again, I've managed to get a working copy of Goldeneye using this media. So good luck to everyone else trying to get this game running.

i have a small issue with mines. it seems multiplayer works fine but in the campaign, after the 1st mission- Dam, i select the second stage facility , the loading screen shows and after a few moments my wii makes weird sounds from the lens and then the "disc cannot be read, please refer to wii instructions" messege pops up. my wii lens is rather horrible, it loads DL brawl like 3% of the time now.. i have Cios 249 rev20 with latest Neo gamma and updated IOS 53,55,and 56 with NUSD. my wii firmware is 4.1U, could this be a bad dvd or iso? it was the first one i saw uploaded trough a search engine, it was scrubbed. i used a memorex Dvd-r.. any help?
