Suprise Update for your Wii - Wiihacks

Everybody Votes is the newest "surprise" Addition to the Wii channels last night.
The blue light beckoned as an email from nintendo informed me of an update to get the new channel. All i had to do was perform the system update and then download the channel for free from the shop channel.

This new channel seems interesting, it is pretty much a place where you can register your Mii's to vote in polls created by other Wii users. They allow local polls so issues more relevant to you can be discussed and global polls where the fun fact finding missions can be discovered.

The polls allow users to submit questions that may be part of the poll and you are only allowed yes and no type questions as of now.

dude i know it is so frigging sweet its really cool and i hope that they will also let help in making descions toward the wii and game and ideas through this tool

now they have released an updated version of the internet channel. Much easier and i like the way the browser is going.

yeah. and the internet channel is available to download for free on Wii Shop channel until June. after that, it'll be 500 wii points

Don't be mad, but I think that the Everybody Votes Channel (as of right now) is kind of pointless. I mean the only questions I ever get are about if I prefer coffee or tea. If Nintendo puts out questions that would be relevant for future games, then this feature would be very useful.

it would be a great channel, if the asked for your opinion on how a game should be formatted, or what demos should be relesed, ect.

Sounds like a great idea....Now all I want is the ability to download game demo games.
